Water in water
Mou Modhubontee
On the stream of water, on the waves of water,
within nature, I immerse myself in the distant water,
where the brown heron sings the song of diving,
the drops and the feathers blend in the lake of the heart.
My beloved evening, to whom does it belong?
At the end of the day, they are counted in the brightness of the stars,
I ask them if they will accompany me,
they smile in silence and say, “You are a shining star on Earth.”
